Nytt: Narkobaronen og den norske politiskandalen
A well-known police chief is arrested by his colleagues in the police station's garage in Oslo. He is suspected of living a double life and secretly helping a well-known drug lord. New episodes from P3 Documentary can be found first on Sveriges Radio Play. Norwegian police officer Eirik Jensen becomes known in the 90s for mediating peace between motorcycle gangs. He is praised by the Minister of Justice for his fight against organized crime. But everything he has done in his role as a police officer will be questioned when, in 2014, he is accused of helping a notorious drug lord smuggle tons of hashish into Norway. Eirik Jensen's own informant, the so-called drug lord, claims that Jensen is part of a criminal network. Police Chief Eirik Jensen is suspected of aiding and abetting drug smuggling and corruption. Jensen's colleagues are split into two camps, those who believe he is being subjected to a miscarriage of justice and those who believe he is guilty. Never before has such a high-ranking police officer been accused of such serious crime. If convicted, Jensen risks the law's harshest punishment: 21 years in prison. This will be one of Norway's biggest criminal cases of all time. Featuring: Cecilie Blegeberg - Eirik Jensen's ex-wife. Leif A. Lier - former colleague and police officer. Roger Stubberud - former colleague and criminologist. Viggo Trosdahl - former colleague and police officer. Asbjørn Linaker - former colleague and police officer.
