ARABIAN TALES S04E02 Libya
The second episode of the 4th season of "Jan Natkański's Arabian Tales" is devoted to a country whose history could serve as a study of an individual obsessed with the hunger for power. For how fascinating — from a purely psychological point of view — is the story of the son of a camel breeder who, at the age of just 27, takes power and does not relinquish it for the next four decades, subordinating the country and its inhabitants to his ambitions, visions, and ultimately madness. But the history of Libya is not limited to the fate of one man, but is a story about millions of people who became victims and hostages of this tyranny. Libya, especially for slightly older Poles whose adulthood fell in the 70s and 80s, may be associated with something much more than just Muammar Gaddafi. Hosted by Agata Kasprolewicz.
