The Yalova of the 70s, reading parents, a youth spent with sports, anthropology, recognition with the first book, becoming a writer, motherhood, neurology, philosophy, our states of womanhood, injustices, memory, democracy, reading, being renewed with children, and looking at history from different perspectives were among the topics we discussed... We also talked about Şebnem's stories and novels, especially her latest novel Memoria, and the librettos and plays she wrote. Şebnem İşigüzel's husband, photographer Manuel Çıtak, whom we lost in 2023, also joined our conversation... We also talked about Çıtak, his art, and mourning.
