"Milei speaks to an increasingly small segment of Argentina. The elderly, families of people with disabilities, and public university students are not being taken into account," said Germán Martínez, head of the Unión por la Patria bloc in Deputies, on Cara o Ceca. "When an Executive does not speak to Argentines and only looks at its own navel, the political representation of that Government breaks down," he said. "Milei is constantly creating problems for the daily lives of Argentines, and we want to solve that, to the point that in Congress we are making room for a debate that should have taken place when the Budget law for this year was discussed. As that law did not pass, we have to address the issues one by one," he said. Putin and Trump will meet in Alaska US President Donald Trump confirmed that he will hold a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on August 15 to discuss the Ukrainian crisis. "Expectations must be moderated. The summit has been planned for a long time. When they meet, they will not only discuss the closing of the conflict in Ukraine, but also issues of the global scenario," said Guillermo Caviasca, historian and professor at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), on Cara o Ceca.
